This week marks the official beginning of practice for the Blackstones' Spring 2013 season.  Here is the schedule for the week:

TUESDAY 2/5:  Practice, 6PM, Stoll Field

THURSDAY 2/7:  Fundraising event - help Jesse move, 6PM, 142 Old Lafayette Ave. 40502; practice may follow depending on duration of move.  Bring practice gear just in case.

SATURDAY 2/9:  6Nations Italy @ Scotland 9:30AM; Wales @ France 12:00PM

SUNDAY 2/10:  6Nations England @ Ireland 10:00AM

Players, fans, and well-wishers,

The Blackstones' Spring 2013 season is quickly approaching.  Check out our "Schedule" section for the newly-added Spring calendar.  We would also like to remind everybody of a few other upcoming events.

• We will be having a team outing on Saturday January 26th.  As it currently stands this will include a tour of the Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company followed by dinner at a separate location.  More details to follow (times, locations, cost per person), but put it on your calendars.

• Our first official practice of the Spring will be held on Tuesday February 5th, most likely beginning at 6PM.  Location TBD, so keep an eye out.  

The Blackstones will travel to Erie, PA to play Erie RFC in their second round playoff match on Saturday November 10th.  

The Lexington Blackstones won their opening round playoff game on 11/3 against the South Pittsburgh Hooligans 36-7!  A big thank you to the Hooligans for traveling so far, and for sticking around for the social and the "after-social" at McCarthy's.
